SIP Print and Metaswitch Networks have announced certification of interoperability between SIP Print’s Call Recording solution and Metaswitch’s Perimeta Session Border Controller.
Southern California-based SIP Print provides VoIP-based call recording solutions for businesses of all sizes. The SIP-compliant call recording solutions help maximize performance and efficiency while meeting regulatory compliance and integrating seamlessly for customers.
Metaswitch develops solutions that help transition communications networks to an all IP-future. The company’s Perimeta Session Border Controller is a distributed, software-based solution that makes it possible to have totally independent, cost effective scaling of signaling and media in a variety of deployment models. It helps address possible network issues for wireless or wireline carriers and allows for both independent scaling of signaling as well as media control.
This latest move will now enable call recording for all Perimeta SBC users. Metaswitch Perimeta SBC is a worldwide product and the addition of call recording for users will make it possible to further expand the services and features being offered to clients worldwide.
Don Palmer, CEO and president of SIP Print, stated, The session border controller (SBC) market is huge right now and Metaswitch is a well-known player in the space so this latest certification brings with it much excitement for SIP Print.
Hosted voice services with advanced features such as call recording enable small medium businesses a simplified path toward next generation unified communications,†said Ken Cavanaugh, Director of Business Development. SIP Print’s certification means carriers can easily deploy and take advantage of SIP Print’s advance call recording capabilities as they migrate to their all IP, hosted voice architectures.
